Rob is one of Sydney’s most respected horsemen with over 40 years breaking in and training horses professionally for all disciplines. He will be the first to tell you that the majority of his most significant lessons in his life, have come as a result of working with horses.

Rob has shown and judged both english and western horses all over Australia and now helps students to train their own horses rather than just learning to ride. He wants them to know why they are doing something not just how to do it.

He is also known for his ability to help remedial horses both in the racing industry as well as riding horses. Rob is more of a horse 'psychologist' than a traditional trainer, motivating the horse to want to perform for him rather than using force to dictate the horse's response. He puts the emphasis on his students striving for focused communication with their horse.
